Belarus to participate in China International Import Expo in Shanghai in November

MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – Belarus will participate in China International Import Expo in Shanghai in November, Natalia Kurash, Director of the Belinterexpo exhibition company at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said at a press conference to sum up the results of Belarus' participation in the International Industrial Fair Innoprom 2023 at BelTA’s press center.

"In the first half of the year, Belinterexpo organized 16 national expositions in nine countries and at Innoprom. Now we are working on exhibitions abroad, both the CIS countries and foreign countries (Oman, the United Arab Emirates, African countries)," Natalia Kurash said.

According to her, now the focus is on a national exposition at CIIE in Shanghai, which will be held from 5 to 10 November. "At the beginning of the year, we held a trial exposition of food producers. Today we are preparing a large national exposition. It will be almost like the second Innoprom. Now preparations are underway, there is interest from Belarusian companies," she said.

Every year from 5 to 10, November Shanghai hosts China International Import Expo, the largest exhibition event in China  which is also the largest and most significant exhibition event in the world. The exhibition is designed to create a platform for international cooperation, stimulate importers of goods to the Chinese market and strengthen economic ties between China and other countries.
