MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) – Belarusian-made goods will be displayed at FoodExpo Kyrgyzstan 2019 which will be held in Bishkek on 16-18 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom.
The expo will include such sections as food, food industry equipment, horeca, packaging, halal industry.
FoodExpo Kyrgyzstan is the most important industry event in the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2018, the expo featured companies from more than 10 countries, including Belarus, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Sri Lanka, and others and drew about 3,500 visitors, 95% of them were food industry professionals.
The applications for participation will be closed on 25 January.
In January-October 2018 the trade between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan totaled $98.49 million, with Belarusian exports accounting for a lion’s share ($90.96 million). Belarus’ major exports to Kyrgyzstan were milk, condensed cream, butter, cheese, farmer cheese and sugar.
