MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – The supplies of Belarusian tires to Russia’s KamAZ will increase by one third in 2016. The agreement was reached during the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Tatarstan. The Belarusian delegation comprised Chairman of Belneftekhim Concern Igor Lyashenko, BelTA learnt from the press service of the company.
“The development of business partnership between Tatarstan and Belarus is supervised by Belneftekhim on Belarus’ behalf. The country’s petrochemical companies have long-standing partner relations with Tatarstan. In 2015 the trade between Belneftekhim organizations and Tatarstan exceeded $70 million. Belneftekhim exports cord fabric, carbon materials, fiber glass, tires, other petrochemical products,” the press service noted.
Talks were also held with KamAZ representatives on the supplies of Belarusian tires to the company’s assembly line. The parties also reached an agreement to increase the supplies of tires from 40,000 in 2015 to 53,000 tires in 2016.
During the visit Nizhnekamskneftekhim Company was invited to take part in tenders on the supplies of synthetic rubber to OAO Belshina. An agreement was signed with Oleokam to conduct research in the production of coolants for the Belarusian Plant of Mineral Wax. The plant also held talks with Kazakhstan’s motor building production association to increase supplies of its products to Tatarstan.The parties also agreed on a visit by a delegation from Belneftekhim to Tatneft-Presscomposite and KAMATEK in May 2016.
