MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – Belarus is considering floating eurobonds worth $600 million in the first half of 2018, Belarus’ Finance Minister Vladimir Amarin told BelTA.
“We are planning to float eurobonds in H1 2018. The total of $2 billion was planned for floating in 2017-2018. $1.4 billion of them was floated in 2017. I think that $600 million will be floated in H1 2018,” Vladimir Amarin said.
In 2017 Belarus floated eurobonds in two tranches with the interest rate of 7.125% and 7.625% respectively.
As BelTA earlier reported, Belarus does not rule out a possibility to float bonds on the Russian and Asian markets in 2018.
