MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – Belarus plans to export its buses and electric buses to Serbia, Minsk Mayor Andrei Shorets said in an interview to the STV channel, BelTA has learned.
During the Minsk Days in Belgrade Andrei Shorets visited the state municipal transport company of the Serbian capital. “The Balkan country is interested in the Belarusian transport. We are ready to consider the possibility of shipping a batch of electrobuses taking into account the specific landscape of Belgrade. The Serbian capital is well aware of Belarusian buses and trolleybuses and is ready to continue the cooperation,” noted Andrei Shorets.
The Belgrade state municipal transport company plans to expand the city’s routes and replace trolleybuses with electric buses.
