MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) – An agreement on the establishing of the Micro-, Optical, and Microwave Electronics innovation and industry cluster will be signed in the B.I. Stepanov Physics Institute on 10 February, the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) told BelTA.
“This cluster will be a coordinating structure in research and production of micro-, optical and microwave electronics and electronic and electro-optical machinery and instrument engineering,” the service informed.
Thanks to this cluster, researchers and manufacturers will be able to work in coordination to keep up with the global market trends in microelectronics and electronic machinery engineering.
In its work the cluster will be guided by a plan of cooperation between NASB, universities, OAO Integral, OAO Planar, and the Research Institute of Radiomaterials in research and development of products and technologies.
