MINSK, 28 December (BelTA) – Belarus intends to finish building the Garlyk mining and processing factory by 31 March 2017. The project was discussed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkmenistan Oleg Tabanyukhov met with Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, co-chairman of the Belarusian-Turkmen intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation Batyr Ereshov, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
During the meeting the Ambassador underlined that the Belarusian side was doing everything possible to commission the Garlyk mining and processing factory by 31 March 2017.
The sides summed up results of cooperation in 2016, sketched out plans for 2017, and talked over prospects of further expanding the mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas.
