MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – A collective stand of Belarus will be showcased at the Speciality Food Festival that will be held on 7-9 November 2021 on the sidelines of the Dubai International Hospitality Week, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The organizer of the Belarusian exposition is the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The event will be held at the same site as other international expos: Gulfood Manufacturing, Yummex, and Private Label Licensing Middle East. In addition, the Speciality Food Festival will be tied in with the Expo 2020 that will feature the national pavilion of Belarus. This will attract more attention to Belarusian products from participants of the B2B segment of the event and will provide opportunities for face-to-face meetings and tastings,” the press service said.
The UAE food market features many luxury goods and heavily relies on import, supplying around 80% from abroad. The UAE is also the third largest re-export hub. “Belarus has great prospects for increasing export to the UAE market, especially supplies of food products. The country’s participation in the Speciality Food Festival is expected to facilitate efforts to boost and diversify export of Belarusian food products,” the National Marketing Center stressed.
