MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi has left for Washington, D.C., the United States to take part in the Spring Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
The annual meetings of the IMF and WBG bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, representatives from civil society organizations and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, world's financial system, poverty eradication, employment and growth, economic development, and aid effectiveness.
