MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) - Belarusian food and beverage producers took part in the InterFood Azerbaijan exhibition in Baku on 10-12 June, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Belarus. The Taste of Nature exhibition featured novelties from 16 Belarusian producers of meat, dairy and confectionary products, drinks and equipment for food production. Attending the event were Belarusian brands, many of which are already well known to Azerbaijani consumers. “Azerbaijanis associate Belarusian products with high quality in the first place. Large supermarkets allocate separate shelves for products under the Made in Belarus brand, and four stores in Baku successfully operate under the name Belaruski,” Belinterexpo said.
Brest Oblast was widely represented at the Belarusian exposition. Brestmyasomolprom Concern displayed the products of subordinate enterprises: Brest Meat Packing Plant, Kobrin Creamery Plant, Luninets Dairy Plant. Their stands showcased a number of interesting novelties. Other well-known brands of the region were also presented, including the products of Pinsk Meat Packing Plant and Pruzhany Dairy Plant.
The Belarusian exposition also displayed the country’s largest dairy companies: Babushkina Krynka, Molochny Mir and Slutsk Creamery Plant. The event was also attended by Mogilev Meat Processing Plant, Minsk Kristall, Spartak Confectionery, Torgmash, Gomel Meat and Milk Company and others.
Ahead of the exhibition the participants of the Belarusian exposition took part in the Azerbaijan-Belarus: Prospects for Cooperation seminar.
