MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ exposition “Belarus. Taste of Nature” is on display at the Azerbaijan’s international agriculture exhibition Caspian Agro Baku 2019. The Belarusian pavilion is the biggest national exposition at the key agricultural exhibition of the region this year, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo.
The exhibition in Baku has welcomed over 200 companies from 20 states. Belarus is represented by 25 companies showcasing farming machinery, equipment and technology, food products, confectionery and beverages.
On the opening day the Belarusian exposition was attended by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, Belarus’ Vice Premier Igor Lyashenko, Belgospishcheprom Chairman Aleksandr Zabello, Belarus’ Ambassador to Azerbaijan Gennady Akhramovich.
The Belarusian exposition is located in two pavilions and occupies more than 200 sq.m.
Organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus are displaying innovative equipment for agriculture, such energy-efficient berry harvester, LED lamps and hothouse feed systems for growing plants in greenhouses. Belagro Bel Company is showcasing a multi-brand portfolio of Belarusian agricultural equipment and integrated solutions for handling a wide range of crops.
Belarus’ information stand put together by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry demonstrates the country’s economic, tourist and cultural potential, export and investment capacities. Belarusian companies hold talks with Azerbaijani distributors and businessmen.
The exhibition will last till 17 May. The Belarusian exposition has been organized by Belinterexpo at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Embassy of Belarus in Azerbaijan.
