MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) – Belarus’ national pavilion has been organized at the exhibitions of agriculture and food products UzAgroExpo and UzProdExpo, which opened in Tashkent on 24, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
Belarusian manufacturers have displayed their innovations in the field of food industry, agricultural engineering and science. The Belarusian pavilion showcases the latest R&D in the agricultural and food industries, including technologies for restoring damaged soils, producing innovative fermented milk drinks, cosmetics and many more. The science stand has been put together by the State Committee for Science and Technology and features the technologies and developments from the organizations affiliated with the Education Ministry.
The opening ceremony of the Belarusian exposition was attended by Belarus' Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Aleksei Bogdanov, Deputy Agriculture Minister Alisher Turaev of Uzbekistan, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marynich.
UzAgroExpo and UzProdExpo are the largest industry events in Uzbekistan. In 2021, the exhibitions featured 120 companies from 18 countries.
The organizer of the Made in Belarus exposition of Belarusian manufacturers at UzAgroExpo and UzProdExpo is the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the BelCCI. The exposition has been arranged with the support of the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus, the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, and the Embassy of Belarus in Uzbekistan.
