MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Tajikistan are interested in setting up joint manufacturing facilities to enter the markets of third countries. The issue was discussed at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov and Head of the Asian and African Countries Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Khusrav Goibov in Dushanbe, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to Belarus-Tajikistan-Afghanistan trade and economic cooperation.
Taking into account the 10th meeting of the Belarus-Tajikistan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation that took place on 25-26 April, the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan also highlighted the development of joint companies to enter the markets of third countries, first of all, of Afghanistan.
The parties agreed to organize a joint business cooperation section at the October International Economic Forum in Tajikistan.
