MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda of Tajikistan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The heads of government of Belarus and Tajikistan discussed important issues of industrial self-sufficiency of the two countries, trade and economic cooperation in 2021. Over the past year, the trade between the two countries increased by 12.6% over 2020 to exceed $126 million, with Belarusian exports up by more than 11% at $122 million.
"The parties reaffirmed commitment to further expanding cooperation across the entire range of Belarusian-Tajik relations," the press service said.
