Belarus, Syria discuss cooperation prospects in trade, economy

MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Belarus and Syria have discussed cooperation prospects in trade and economy, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.

Belarus’ Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Ivan Smilgin met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Belarus Mohammad Aloumrani.

The parties explored possibilities to expand trade and economic contacts and thanked each other for cooperation.

Belarus’ main exports to Syria are skimmed milk powder and whey powder.
