MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) - Belarus invites Chuvashia to develop cooperation in the field of passenger transportation, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting with head of the Chuvash Republic of Russia Mikhail Ignatiev, BelTA has learned.
Alexander Lukashenko noted Chuvashia is well familiar with Belarusian equipment: farm machines, construction and road-building equipment, trucks. "Promising is our cooperation in the field of passenger transport," the President said. Today, Chuvash partners can buy Belarusian equipment with the use of new financial plans, he said.
One of the areas of bilateral cooperation is agriculture. Alexander Lukashenko noted that this is not just about simple acquisition of equipment but also about
science, breeding, seed farming, and other areas that help ensure the sustainable long-term development of the agricultural industry. "We have gained some experience in animal husbandry. We will be happy to share it with all the regions of the Russian Federation,” Alexander Lukashenko added.
The head of state underlined that Belarus views Chuvashia as a stable trading and economic partner. “We mainly cooperate in manufacturing industry, agriculture, building industry. Belarusian and Chuvash companies have long been working in a single production chain However, we need to develop new areas, go further, do not stop at the level that we have today,” Alexander Lukashenko noted.
The Belarusian leader noted that Belarus and Chuvash peoples are hard-working diligent. According to the President, this is the basis on which the parties may implement any project. When in Belarus the delegation of the Chuvash Republic will be able to visit any company to gain useful experience. "We are ready to work in any area that will be of interest to you, to consider your suggestions, answer your questions and act in this direction," the President stressed.
