MINSK, 22 August (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas is visiting Beijing and Shanghai on 20-29 August to attend a seminar for high-level civil servants in order to study China's economic development and modern reforms, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The seminar is organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. While in Beijing, the delegation will discuss the issues related to the regulation of the Chinese financial market and the development of the Chinese modern financial system in the Ministry of Finance. The Belarusian delegation will get familiar with the social security system as part of the seminars in the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and study the activity of the China Tourism Group and Alibaba Group.
The Belarusian representatives are also expected to visit the Shanghai Free Economic Zone to study China's best investment practices. The program of activities also includes the familiarization with China’s urban construction and architecture.
