MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Head of Bellesbumprom Aleksandr Pshenny met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Aleksandr Chervyakov to discuss the results of his visit to China, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom.
For several days, the Belarusian delegation toured modern pulp production facilities fitted with equipment from leading Chinese manufacturers in different cities of the country.
Thus, together with Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai Andrei Andreyev, the delegation visited the largest modern pulp production facility. The plant uses drying and packaging equipment from leading Chinese manufacturers.
Bellesbumprom Concern is working on a project to build a second pulp and board mill in Belarus, with a capacity no less than the mill in Svetlogorsk. It was for this reason that the Belarusian delegation went to China, namely to get familiar with Chinese technologies and equipment in the field of pulp production.
