MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – Belarus is set to take part in the state programs for infrastructure development of Pakistan’s Punjab Province. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Yermolovich and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed promising cooperation areas, primarily agriculture, industry, forestry, and the participation of Belarus in the state programs for infrastructure development of Pakistan’s Punjab Province,” the press service said.
The parties also exchanged views on the development of interregional cooperation, including within the framework of the agreement on cooperation between the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and the Government of Punjab.
