MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – Belarus is working to resume supplies of potash fertilizers to India, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India Andrei Rzheussky said in an interview with the STV TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“There is a possibility to resume the export of potash fertilizers. This matter is very important. The embassy is also involved in the efforts to restore the supplies of potash fertilizers to India, because it has an impact on the price of these products not only in India, but also in other countries in the region,” Andrei Rzheussky said.
According to him, India has always been ready to cooperate with Belarus across many areas. “It stands ready to cooperate. There was a slight decline due to objective reasons, namely the sanctions on our country, problems with logistics worldwide. The obstacles placed by many Western countries could not deter our growth,” the ambassador remarked.
