MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia’s Samara Oblast are interested in setting up an integrated commodity distribution chain for their goods. The Grodno Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Samara Oblast held B2B online negotiations to discuss this matter, BelTA learned from the website of the Grodno Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
The negotiations were organized to discuss the possibility of setting Belarusian trade and logistics centers in Samara Oblast and trade and logistics centers of the Russian region in Belarus, the BelCCI noted.
The event was attended by the heads of the BelCCI’s Grodno Office, the Grodno branch of the Belarusian logistics enterprise Beltamozhservice, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Samara Oblast and the Samara Agropark.
“At the initial stage it will make economic sense to use the transport and logistics centers of Beltamozhservice in Belarus and those of the Samara Agropark in the Volga region rather than to set up new trade and logistics centers. With a view to developing an integrated commodity distribution chain using the services of Belarusian and Samara trade and logistics centers, BelCCI”s Grodno Office and the Chamber of Samara Oblast will team up to attract exporters and importers to this project,” the BelCCI said.
