PSKOV, 28 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia’s Pskov Oblast may collaborate in manufacturing and product promotion, State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Grigory Rapota told the media after the meeting with Governor of Russia’s Pskov Oblast Mikhail Vedernikov in Pskov on 28 November, BelTA has learned.
“If we take a look at the trade between Belarus and Pskov Oblast, we will see the points of growth. For instance, Pskov Oblast has a well-developed combined fodder industry. Belarus is implementing a similar large-scale project. The Union State is also working on a combined fodder program. We think this industry is good for collaboration,” Grigory Rapota said.
As another example, he cited the manufacture of cable products. “Here we can think about collaboration and co-promotion,” Grigory Rapota said. There are other areas in industry and agriculture where Belarus and Russian can pool their resources, he added.
A group of Belarusian journalists are on a press tour in Pskov, Russia. The tour was organized by the Union State Standing Committee jointly with the National Press Center of Belarus and the international news agency Rossiya Segodnya.
