MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia’s Novosibirsk Oblast will sign contracts worth over $13 million during the visit of the Belarusian government delegation to the Russian region, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said as he met with Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast Andrei Travnikov on 27 April, BelTA has learned.
According to Roman Golovchenko, the search for new points of development of trade and economic relations is one of the goals of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Novosibirsk. “I have been told that contracts for the supply of machinery, equipment and products worth over $13 million will be signed during this visit,” the prime minister said.
The Belarusian government delegation led by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is on a working visit to three Russian regions – Novosibirsk Oblast, Irkutsk Oblast, and Sverdlovsk Oblast on 26-28 April. The program of the working trip includes meetings with regional governors, transfer of MTZ tractors to Novosibirsk Oblast, and visits to a number of enterprises.
