MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Kaluga Oblast of Russia are mulling over intensifying cooperation in road and housing construction and mechanical engineering sectors. The plans were discussed at a meeting between Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus Alexander Shumilin and First Vice Governor of Kaluga Oblast Dmitry Denisov, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee.
It was noted during the meeting that Belarusian construction organizations have already gained experience in building facilities of different purpose in Kaluga Oblast. There are also good opportunities to develop bilateral cooperation, including in education, medicine, ICT and technological parks.
The parties also discussed the action plan for bilateral cooperation and the date for the next meeting of the Belarus-Kaluga Oblast working group on cooperation.
