MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia will develop projects in the spheres of smart city technologies and telecommunication equipment, BelTA has learned.
Two agreements were signed on the sidelines of the TIBO 2023 forum on 19 April. Rosatom’s country office in Belarus and OOO T-Kom signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the area of realization of joint telecommunication equipment projects with the Belarusian company OAO Promsvyaz.
Apart from that, Rosatom’s country office in Belarus and Rusatom Infrastructure Solutions signed an agreement with the Belarusian company OAO Giprosvjaz on strategic cooperation in realizing joint projects with regard to the deployment of smart city technologies.
The international information and communications technologies forum TIBO 2023 will last through 21 April. Famous vendors of telecommunication equipment, hardware and software, mobile carriers and landline communication providers, developers and suppliers of high-tech products, security systems, smart solutions and services for the mass market and the corporate market, research and education institutions presented their products and services at the forum. Minsk Arena will host the 3rd Digital Economy Forum, the 5th Eurasian Digital Forum, and the 6th Belarusian ICT Summit in addition to accompanying events. Those include the TIBO Internet Award, the national contest of startup projects Belarus ICT Startup Award, the national qualifying stage of the 6th International Scratch Olympiad on Creative Programming among school students, the Minsk Open Tournament on Educational Robotics, and the National Championship on Cyber Sports.
