MOSCOW, 24 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia have signed milk and meat balance sheets for 2019, BelTA learned from the website of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
“Balance sheets on milk, dairy products, meat and meat products for 2019 were signed following the meeting of Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev and Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats on 19 September with the participation of State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota. The agreements preserve also the same volume in mutual supplies of dairy products. The parties also agreed to increase the supplies of certain meat products from Belarus,” the ministry informed.
The ministry recalled that the issues relating to export and import of agricultural products were discussed by the Vice Prime Ministers of Belarus and Russia, Mikhail Rusy and Aleksei Gordeyev.
“The mechanism of compiling the forecast balances has been applied over many years to reconcile mutual interests in agricultural trade between Russia and Belarus,” the Russian ministry said.
