MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia have outlined steps to deepen cooperation between industrial enterprises of the two countries, press secretary of the Industry Ministry Oleg Slepchenko told BelTA.
The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a delegation of Belarus headed by Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik. On behalf of the Russian ministry, the meeting was headed by Industry Minister Denis Manturov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of bilateral cooperation and outlined further steps to advance cooperation between industrial enterprises of Belarus and Russia.
"The agreements reached today will provide new opportunities for Belarusian and Russian business entities to realize their entire industrial potential, which fully complies with the principles of the joint industrial policy within the framework of the Union State," Piotr Parkhomchik noted.
Another topic on the agenda was the preparation for the annual celebrations to mark the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, during which flagships of the Belarusian industry will present advanced innovative products in Russia.
Belarusian automotive, agricultural and utility vehicles will be showcased at VDNKh in Moscow from 31 March to 14 April.
