MOGILEV, 12 May (BelTA) – The value of bilateral merchandise trade between Belarus and Russia totaled $27.5 billion in 2015, Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov told media after a meeting of the Belarus-Russia Union State Council of Ministers in Mogilev, BelTA has learned.
“In 2015, the value of bilateral trade in goods amounted to $27.5 billion. In Q1 2016 we had a slight decrease in terms of value. However, in physical terms, unlike the value, the trade between Belarus and Russia has been growing: the growth rate made up 2.6%,” Andrei Kobyakov noted.
According to the Belarusian head of government, the Union State government meeting focused on the plan of activities of the governments to create additional conditions for the development of trade and economic cooperation.
