Belarus, Russia discuss ways to unify transport market regulations

MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) – The delegation of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry headed by First Deputy Minister Aleksei Lyakhovich is taking part in the 15th International Forum and Exhibition Transport Week 2021 in Moscow, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communication Ministry.

“Expert consultations were held with representatives of the Russian Ministry of Transport. Aleksei Lyakhovich also met with State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia Dmitry Zverev. The parties discussed the implementation of the Union State program to unify the regulation of the transport market of the two countries,” the press service said.

The forum is a platform for discussing the development of the transport and logistics complex which contributes to attracting innovation, investment and growth in international transport services. It comprises a series of industry conferences and panel discussions on digitalization and implementation of artificial intelligence, including autonomous driving, the impact of the pandemic on global transport and the green agenda of the transport industry.
