MOSCOW, 29 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia are on the whole close to agreeing the fuel and energy balance for 2016. The statement was made by Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev after the session of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Moscow on 29 September, BelTA has learned.
Dmitry Medvedev said that the sides had discussed the general situation on the oil products market that had forced Belarus to supply less gasoline to Russia. “It was not a malicious intent but an effect of the real economic situation,” he said.
According to the Russian Prime Minister, the main figures of the balance have been agreed, the sides now have to take care of some minor things.
