MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Romania plan to develop regional cooperation. This matter was high on agenda of the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Romania Andrei Grinkevich and State Secretary of Romania’s Ministry for Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship Cristian Dima, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarus’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the Belarus-Romania trade and economic cooperation, the preparation for a meeting of the Belarusian-Romanian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation, efforts to enhance regional cooperation and to promote relations between the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries,” the source said.
The parties also noted the significant potential for the further development of Belarus-Romania economic cooperation.
