Belarus ready to help Nigeria implement economic development program

MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nigeria to Belarus (on concurrent accreditation) Abdullahi Shehu Yibaikwal on 20 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the state of bilateral relations and exchanged views on intensifying cooperation in political, trade, economic and educational areas. Special emphasis was placed on the development of cooperation in agriculture.

Belarus expressed readiness to assist Nigeria in implementing its social and economic development program, announced by President Bola Tinubu in August 2023.
