MOSCOW, 6 June (BelTA) – Belarus is ready for mutually beneficial cooperation with Moscow Oblast on all fronts, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko said as he met with Moscow Oblast Governor Andrei Vorobyov on the sidelines of the 23rd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on 6 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the embassy.
“Vladimir Semashko and Andrei Vorobyov agreed on a number of events as part of the working group on the development and coordination of cooperation between Belarus and Moscow Oblast. This will help the parties to make decisions on the most important issues, coordinate work of the government bodies, companies and organizations in the implementation of agreements,” the press service said.
In January-April 2019, the trade between Belarus and Moscow Oblast totaled $1.8 billion, up 3.1% year on year. Belarus is a big trading partner of Moscow Oblast, which ranks first in the Belarusian exports among Russian regions.
