Belarus raises export duties on oil, oil products

MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – As of 1 June Belarus raised export duties on oil and oil products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision is laid down by the Council of Ministers’ resolution No.299 of 31 May 2021, BelTA has learned.

In line with the document the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils now is $58.8 per tonne ($54.9 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline has been set at $32.3 per tonne ($30.1 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants amounts to $17.6 per tonne ($16.4 previously).

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised downwards on 1 May.
