SOCHI, 18 September (BelTA) – Belarus has been taking decisive steps to create equal conditions for citizens and economic entities in the Union State, Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich said at the plenary session of the Second Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Sochi on 18 September, BelTA has learned.

According to the Speaker, Belarus views the forum of regions as a platform to discuss the issues of comprehensive cooperation for both the regional authorities and business. “My country has always aimed at the creation of equal conditions for citizens and economic entities of Belarus and Russia,” the head of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament said.

Mikhail Myasnikovich suggesting outlining mutual steps in order to gradually remove all existing disagreements in the normative and legal regulation of bilateral economic and social matters. In this respect, big hopes are on the active work of the Parliamentary Assembly of Belarus and Russia, Mikhail Myasnikovich added.
