MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – It is essential to modernize the tax system and make it more understandable for economic operators, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he heard out a report of the government, National Bank, oblast executive committees, and Minsk City Hall on Belarus’ economic performance in 2017 and the efforts to ensure sustainable economic growth, BelTA informs.
“This year the government and the parliament should modernize the tax system and eradicate all superfluous things,” the head of state said.
The president emphasized that the text system should be simple and understandable for economic operators.
The head of state urges to step up efforts in this field. He instructed the first deputy prime minister to focus on the Tax Code.
