Belarus presents investment potential at forum in China’s Zhejiang

MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) - On 11 May, Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai Andrei Andreyev presented the trade, economic and investment potential of Belarus to more than 170 Chinese companies that participated in the business forum Hangzhou – Belt and Road in Zhejiang Province, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Shanghai.

The Belarusian diplomat emphasized the special role of the flagship investment projects of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation. In particular, he spoke about the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone and BelGee in the successful implementation of the Belt and Road initiative.

The consul general of Belarus suggested a number of practical areas of cooperation to the Chinese partners, including industrial cooperation, import of Belarusian food products, as well as medical, tourism, and educational services.
