ISLAMABAD, 26 May (BelTA) - The agreement to set up a Belarus-Pakistan business council was signed in Islamabad on 26 May, BelTA has learned.
According to Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov, the business council will gather for the first meeting already this autumn, most likely in Belarus.
The business council will comprise members of the chambers of commerce of the tow countries. Representatives of the business community who wish to obtain advice or who are facing any problems can apply to the business council. "The business council is designed to help solve business problems encountered in cooperation, communicate them to the governments, and provide advice to businesses willing to cooperate," said Mikhail Myatlikov.
The heads of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry also signed an agreement on cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries.
