MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Pakistan intend to develop cooperation in electronic warfare, First Deputy Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee Igor Bykov said as he attended a meeting of the tenth session of the Council of the Republic, BelTA has learned.
Members of the Council of the Republic approved the draft law "Concerning the ratification of the agreement between the Governments of Belarus and Pakistan on military and technical cooperation.”
The agreement has been concluded for a term of five years and provides for mutual sale of weapons, conduct of design work, training of military specialists, and information exchange. The document does not contradict the agreements that Belarus has already concluded with other countries in this area.
