MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) – Belarus is negotiating the possibility of setting up facilities to assemble Belarusian vehicles in Angola, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The matter will be high on the agenda of the Angola visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to South Africa with concurrent accreditation to Angola Andrei Molchan on 22-25 February. The Belarusian diplomat met with Angola Vice President Manuel Vicente, President of the National Assembly of Angola Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, representatives of banking circles, business circles of Angola, and other parties.
Prospects of advancing bilateral cooperation in politics, trade, and economy were discussed, including mutual shipments of Belarusian and Angolan products and the establishment of joint assembly enterprises.
