MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy met with top officials of the International Cooperation Department, the Food Export and Import Safety Bureau, the Animal and Plant Quarantine Department, the Enterprise Management and Audit-Based Control Department, and the Port Control Department in the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China on 15 March, BelTA has learned.
The sides summed up results of last year’s work and cooperation plans for 2019, including broader access of Belarusian products to the Chinese market. Favorable foreign trade conditions were discussed as well as ways to expedite container train traffic between China and Europe via Belarus.
Representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in China also said that a trade and economic business forum Minsk Oblast – Chongqing City will take place on 22 March during the visit of Minsk Oblast Governor Anatoly Isachenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy to Chongqing.
