MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ national pavilion was opened at Smart China Expo 2022. The expo took place in the Chinese city of Chongqing on 22-23 August, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian exposition was organized by the Consulate General of Belarus in Chongqing in association with partner companies.
A part of the Belarusian pavilion was dedicated to peculiarities of the country and showcased Belarus’ trade, education, and tourism potential. Samples of Belarusian foods were available for tasting. Another part of the pavilion was dedicated on the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone as the most important interstate project.
Results of successful work of the Belarusian-Chinese industrial joint ventures Sanjiang-Volat and Zongshen-Gomselmash were also presented at the expo.
Smart China Expo was established in 2018 upon the initiative of the State Council of China and with assistance of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Over a short period of time the expo became China’s leading venue for presenting technological novelties of Chinese industry and foreign industry in the sphere of robot technologies, artificial intelligence, digital commerce, and IT as a whole.
