MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) - Belarus’ National Center for Marketing and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) have signed a cooperation agreement, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing (NCM).
During a visit to India, director of the National Center for Marketing Nikolai Borisevich met with the leadership of the Indian business associations with an aim of creating additional conditions for bilateral trade, organizing events with the business community and expanding the NCM partner network.
During the meeting, Nikolai Borisevich and Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Shailesh Pathak signed a cooperation agreement.
An agreement was also reached with the FICCI to organize a Belarusian-Indian business forum this year, which will be co-located with the next meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission.
With the chief operating officer of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), it was agreed to organize targeted events to intensify bilateral cooperation in mechanical engineering. One of the concrete steps in this direction may be the organization of a visit of a CII delegation to the Republic of Belarus during the Belagro exhibition.
During a meeting with the head of the Inventivepreneur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI), the parties noted the need for the tourism sectors to establish a direct dialogue at the company level and also agreed to hold a number of joint sectoral online events in the near future.
A roadmap for intensifying contacts between Belarusian enterprises and the business community of Mumbai was discussed during a meeting with the director of the r Business and Corporate Services Center.
