MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) – The business community has started putting together the national platform for doing business in Belarus in 2016, BelTA learned from Vladimir Karyagin, Chairman of the Presidium of the Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship, Chairman of the Minsk City Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, on 28 October. Vladimir Karyagin spoke during the conference held in Minsk on 28 October to discuss a new economy, economy growth clusters, investment lifts, and infrastructure investments for the sake of economic development.
Vladimir Karyagin said: “We have started preparing the 2016 Belarus National Business Platform. The work proceeds in a completely open manner. Any university student, any professor or entrepreneur is free to make his or her contribution, can be part of the working group and has the right to be heard. We already know for sure that the government, the Belarus President Administration and the president himself pay much attention to every sensible business initiative.”
Vladimir Karyagin also stated that the Global Entrepreneurship Week will begin on 16 November. “It is a major international conference that will feature dozens of events. We are becoming some of the active economic operators in 150 countries by making our own contribution and by thinking about what steps we have to make,” said the Chairman of the Minsk City Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers.
The conference on the new economy, economy growth clusters, investment lifts, and infrastructure investments for the sake of economic development took place as part of the international expo Finance & Banks. The event was supposed to attract international experience and take a look into opportunities of the new economy based on innovations, export, optimization of resources, investment lifts, and the new role of the state in economy.
