Belarus’ MTZ exports up more than 40% in January-July 2021

MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – In January-July 2021 the exports of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) made up 143.1% compared with the same stretch a year ago, BelTA learned from the company’s Telegram channel.

MTZ’s deliveries to non-CIS countries increased by 30%, to the post-Soviet countries - by 79,1%.

As for the new markets, in January-July 2021 MTZ supplied tractors to Turkmenistan, India, Yemen, Mongolia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali and Madagascar. In 2020 the company did not export products to these countries.

Minsk Tractor Plant is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery. MTZ Holding Company includes MTZ, ten companies, and there are 25 assembly facilities abroad. The company sells to more than 60 countries.
