MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo discussed cooperation with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Belarus Batsukh Bayarsaikhan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
The parties discussed further development of trade and economic relations between the countries. The agenda included issues related to the supply of Belarusian breeding cattle and equipment for cattle farms of Mongolia, cooperation in cattle breeding and veterinary, agricultural education, mutual participation in agro-industrial exhibitions and forums.
In 2021 the trade in food products and agricultural raw materials with Mongolia totaled $14.1 million (up 2.5 times from 2020). The exports were mainly made up of milk and dairy products – 85.9%.
In January-February 2022 the trade in food products and agricultural raw materials with Molgolia made up $8.4 million (up 5.9 times from 2020).
