TBILISI, 1 September (BelTA) - Hotels with the Belarusian capital may be built in Georgia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Georgia Mikhail Myatlikov said in an interview with BelTA.
“Belarusians love to visit Georgia. They come to see the sea in Adzharia and go skiing in the mountains. Gastronomic, religious tourism is interesting as well. I think that soon we will consider the projects to build hotels, with the participation of the Belarusian capital. We are working on this,” Mikhail Myatlikov noted.
He stated that from year to year there has been a steady flow of Belarusian tourists to Georgia. “Let’s turn to statistics: in H1 2016 alone Belavia air carrier reported an 80% increase in the passenger traffic on this route. This means that the Belarusian arrivals in Georgia grew by the same 80%,” the Ambassador said.
