MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – Belarus plans to increase the sales of its tractors to Romania, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Romania.
“Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Romania Andrei Grinkevich paid a visit to Galati County in Romania where Tractor MTZ operates. The company advances and sells products of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) on the Romanian market,” representatives of the Belarusian diplomatic mission said.
Andrei Grinkevich visited Tractor MTZ and held talks with the company’s leadership. The parties discussed measures to boost sales of Belarusian tractors in Romania.
Romania is an important market for Minsk Tractor Works. Romania is the third largest European buyer of the MTZ products and the ninth largest worldwide. In January-September 2020 Romania bought 495 Belarusian tractors worth more than $5 million.
