MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Lithuania are discussing a project that envisages the joint production of agricultural machines. The agreement to consider the possibility was reached during a meeting of heads of industrial enterprises from Lida District, Grodno Oblast and representatives of Lithuanian business circles, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in Lithuania told BelTA.
According to the source, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Lithuania Alexander Korol went to Lida on a working trip on 6 September. A meeting of heads of the district’s largest industrial enterprises and representatives of Lithuanian business circles took place there.
The meeting focused on matters concerning the implementation of specific projects involving cooperation with Lithuania in the sphere of manufacturing agricultural machines. The sides reached an agreement to consider the possibility of setting up the joint production of Belarusian agricultural machines in Lithuania.
