MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev of Kyrgyzstan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
The foreign ministers discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, topical items on the international agenda, and interaction in the integration associations, including taking into account Belarus’ chairmanship in the CIS.
"The parties emphasized the importance of active and meaningful contacts between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan and outlined the steps for further development of Belarusian-Kyrgyz cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian areas, mutual support in the international arena," the ministry said.
